Directed by the legendary William A. Wellman, Nothing Sacred is a biting, cynical, and hilarious masterpiece of the screwball comedy genre. The film stars the luminous Carole Lombard as Hazel Flagg, a bored woman from a small Vermont town who receives a diagnosis of radium poisoning, only to later discover she is perfectly healthy. Enter Wally Cook, played by the charismatic Fredric March, a disgraced New York reporter desperate for a comeback story. Unaware of her clean bill of health, he whisks Hazel away to the Big Apple to live out her "final days" as a media darling.

Noted for being the first screwball comedy filmed in vibrant Technicolor, the movie offers a visual feast that complements Ben Hecht’s razor-sharp screenplay. This unique aesthetic is a major reason film historians and comedy lovers continue to Watch Nothing Sacred today. Lombard proves why she was the queen of comedy, balancing vulnerability with slapstick brilliance—most notably in a scene where she and March trade punches to prove their affection.

If you are looking to enjoy a satire that feels startlingly modern in its critique of media sensationalism, finding a Watch Nothing Sacred full movie source is the perfect choice. The film ruthlessly mocks the public's appetite for tragedy and the press's willingness to exploit it. To fully appreciate the groundbreaking color cinematography and the detailed 1930s set design, securing a Watch Nothing Sacred hd version is highly recommended. Ultimately, Nothing Sacred remains a timeless, wicked delight where the only thing dying is the truth.
